Subject: VX10 vs Tech 50D

Are there any opinions on whether the mechanically dry sealed first stage 
(Tech 50D) or the silicone sealed first stage (VX10) is preferable?  Are 
there any advantages or disadvantages to each?  i.e. better at depth or 
certain temperature ranges. 
      I dive with the Tech 50D but nothing very deep or colder than 45F. 
For what I do it seems like a great reg.  Plus it is simple to
service/repair.
