Subject: Long hose

George and others,

I am cavern certified and want to take the Intro Cave next.  It requires a 
long hose.  I use Poseidon Odins and the 7foot hose is $100.  I was advised 
by a dive shop that I could use a 5foot hose with a coupler to the 2foot hose 
already on the Odin's second stage.

My question is does the added connections constitute "strokery" or would you 
guys consider this acceptable?  I don't have a problem buying the Poseidon 
hose if it would add to safety over using a coupler.
