Subject: Poseidon Unisiut valves

I recently aquired a Poseidon Unisuit (2nd hand) and found that I 
cannot reposistion the power inflator stem to the left side.  This is 
because the valve will not come loose.  I have tried, but cannot loosen 
either the power inlfator nor the exhaust valve.  Do the Unisuit valves 
come fixed in place?  If not, is there a technique to loosen them?
