The bubble models take all relevent factors into account. The reason you
don't see any programs out there is liability. The idea of generating
tables that require deeper stops *AND* get you out of the water in less
time is a liability nightmare, mostly because it goes against such
strongly rooted conventional wisdom. I think that simple modifications
of ascent profiles are sufficient. I can feel confident preaching deep
stops without fear of liability issues, because if I ever get dragged
into court, all my lawyer has to say is "WHAT? You took decompression
advice from a fish nerd, who obviously knows nothing about
decompression???? Your Honor, the Defense moves to terminate this case on
the grounds that the plaintiff is obviously nuts!"

It's easy enough just to modify your ascent pofile to include deep safety
stops. If you work those into your method of calculating tables
(automatic if you have a dive computer, a simple multi-level dive for
most desktop software), then you get a few extra minutes on the shallow
stops, which is a good safety margin (even though you could probably
*shorten* the shallow stops). The point is, you'll probably feel MUCH
better after the dive.
