The domain of validity of a model can only be established through observations. I have a hard time seeing the risk of delusion being confined to just the compartment-based models. I'm leaving for Florida shortly so I'll taper out my contributions here with the following: When I suggested that the M values scale with the mass I suspected that what I did was nothing more than departing from the compartment model and approach a statistical free gas phase model with the DCI risk scaling with the total number of bubbles in existance at any one given time. I saw such a model as desirable because of the ease at which it can be simulated on a computer. I think the concensus was against me :-). Later, John
