Subject: VIKING INFLATOR WHIP OBSTRUCTION

     I've noticed that the inflator whip from my Viking pro only allows a 
     trickle of gas into the suit, but my Posseidon inflator whip fills the 
     suit in a snap.  Close inspection revealed that the Viking whip has 
     some type of restriction near the quick release end of the hose.  It's 
     not within the quick release mecninism, but in the vicinity of the 
     metal crimp at the terminal end of the whip itself.
     
     Therefore, I use the Posseidon whip exclusively on my Viking suit.
     
     Does anyone know if this Viking whip obstruction serves a purpose? I'd 
     like to bore it out with a drillbit. Ideas?
