The difference between 200 bar, 240 bar and 300 bar valves and =
regulators are the number of threads.  The higher the rated pressure, =
the more threads.

You can connect a 300 bar regulator to any DIN valve rated up to 300 =
bar. If you connect it to a 200 bar valve, then you won't be able to =
screw the "stem" in all the way - since the valve only has a certain =
number of threads. Part of the "stem" would stick out of the valve - so =
now you have a 200 bar connection.

However, you would NOT be able to connect a 200 bar rated regulator to a =
300 bar valve, since the stem would not reach the whole length of the =
valve.
