Tom, if you argree with Gavin, then why are you teaching and doing a system that is not only horrendous, but clearly not the most optimal. Why would you teach three methods, when two are crap? Maybe all schools should teach two wrong ways and one right way for everything. This is like going to the grocery store and having them charge you for what ever you did NOT buy, rather than what you did.
