The wasted money is a big one... People only have so much $$$ to spend
on this stuff and they often feel embarased to admit that they screwed
up and bought inappropriate gear.  I have a LOT of openwater dives
but, since I've gone Hogarthian I can swim faster, easier, with less
effort and feel better with the gear.

And, this gear config works for ALL diving, not just caving... It's
clean, works GREAT for open water video, it's even easier to travel
with because you're not taking the whole kitchen sink!!!
