Rick, the guy in the pictures who wore the tripples had a self-imposed limit of the junction of B / C and A Tunnels as his max penetration at Wakulla. This is where Sallot swam to the other day to collect water samples, on a set of 100's. Sallot is a large dude as well, further proving that doing it right makes all of the difference. This also points out the fact that convoluted gear configurations are not safe, no matter what Lloyd Bailey or Tom Mount think. Luckily , neither one of them is calling that shots for WKPP, or we would have a real circus going every time we met, as each person dreamed up some new form of blatent strokery to dive with. We have one response to each emergency situation, and one gear configuration for all of our diving except sidemount, which is one different config. Sooner or later , people in this community will stop the slobbering about how something that has killed hundreds of people is safe, and "recretional" , and therefor OK to do wrong. I will continue to prove this, and be vocal and visible about this, until some degree of responsability is developed by the instructional community. In the meantime, if you are thinking about instruction, ask me who to go to , and get the real answer. I am not trying to protect anyone, or hide past strokery. I will tell you who is doing it right. I remind you all to thnk back on the square light thing. Remember who defended that stupidiy to the death? Don't ever listen to those people, they have proven themselves. This is just my opinion, so I don't want to hear the howling. We all can have our opinions, it is just that mine is the right one, and you all know it. - George Irvine
