I get O2 in 300 cu. ft. cylinders for about $25 and can get several fills (of decreasing pressure) in my steel 72. I usually, however buy two cylinders and fill off the lower cylinder to get the pressure up and then top with the full cylinder. This gives me several fills at a higher pressure. Some medical oxygen shops ask for a prescription, but I asked around 'til I found one that would sell to me directly w/o a prescription. Reasonable economy measures are fine, but where safety is concerned, I'd rather find a less expensive way to fill my cylinder rather than short-cut a proven safety measure. JoeL
