Only if some yahoo in a boat doesn't think you're a Manatee and wants
Manatee steaks for dinner :^)

Out on the Channel Islands in California it was quite interesting...
42 miles from the mainland.  Easy to swim to shore (the island, not
the mainland), but, then you'd have the seals to deal with...  Not a
big deal, but you'd want to stay away from the Bull Elephant seals -
they're HUGE!  Maybe they'd mistake you for a cow :^) OHHH
NOOOOOOOO!!!!
