Joel,
Once again bud, you're mistaken. The only reason the list went down
was because an unnamed instructor put pressure on me here at my
office to either moderate or shut the list down. I've decided to shut
it down. It had nothing to do with any other person.
"Phil Wooley" (as I'll call him to avoid making a public statement of
blame) had been "faked". Rather then take it up with the person he
thought was responsible (he thinks it's someone who wants to be in
with the "big crowd" or something), he felt it better to come crying
to me. Once again we don't know who is doing the fake messages, all
we know is that someone had been sending out messages as "Phil" and
he was too thin-skinned to let it slide.
It's really frustrating to me to have these guys show up at my office
bitching about the list, so I had no recourse but to shut it down.
And in regards to stuffing it, yes, I believe he does stuff the long
hose.
