Why oh why is it that dive shows, especially tech. dive shows, are 
arranged to coincide with neap tides?? The same happened with the 
Euro-tek thing last autumn.

The week beginning the 22 June is the best neap tides for a month or 
two (in the UK), being on the equinox (or something, never was good at 
Astronomy), so all good divers should be off diving to take advantage of 
this.

Why can't dive shows be arranged for nasty spring tides, when no 
self-respecting diver would want to be in the water. Perhaps IANTD 
courses should include lessons (sp?) on reading tide tables :-(
