Tom, with the big bottles you need to mount them all the way up,
not down where the little bottles go. You need the big bottles for the
open circuit bailout in cave. It will be big, but not longer than a set
of 121's is already. I am only talking one application here, and I
would not want four bottles or deco and bottom gas in any way linked.
Anality keeps me alive. If you are just cave diving with it for fun,
use the little bottle and carry a stage for bailout.
Otherwise, the other machine is not suited for cave diving, and
is totally unnecessary for what we (WKPP) do. Please keep in mind that
we actually do this on a regular basis, and are tired of hearing better
ways from people (not you) who have proven their inability to get anything done
with any equipment of any kind. I realize that you make money and have
fun playing with the techie stuff, and I will be glad to do it with
you , I like rebreathers and other gadgets, but when it comes time to
do what we do, until somebody can actually do it a better way in
Tallahasse Power Cave, we have no interest.
When Stone does his first cave
dive in Cheryl or Turner or one of those, I will buy one of his units and
donate it to charity. So far, on his one attempt to dive Wakulla, he made it
to where we drop our first stage bottle before clusterschmucking himself into
near oblivion. He says he will go three times as far as we go, but so far
my newest support divers have all been farther than he has, and that goes for
his financeer as well, and in Sally Ward, well, dobn't make me laugh.
