Carl, and WW... Geezmo.... You take a hypothetical, and turn it around so now it looks like I am advocating unsafe diving, or worse yet, that I am an unsafe diver. Put a sock in it, dudes. You're like a crabby wife, turning an argument around so that the husband is the bad guy. Every last single one of you have been in the situation John suggested in his post, with the exception of your first stage actually blowing. Don't EVEN tell me that you haven't been at over 130' on a single tank ever in your diving life. Sure, we don't do that now, but that doesn't mean that we have been "Mr. Joe Super Safety Diver" all of our lives. NO ONE is advocating that kind of diving - it was merely a question regarding a possible piece of safety equipment. Comprende? His question was a hypothetical, and questioned why someone in the dive manufacturing industry doesn't come up with some sort of CO2 bailout system. Of all the replies to his post, only Farb had the most coherent, reasonable answer. After reading Farbs answer, I am satisfied as to why they don't offer such a thing. Take a chill-pill, or better yet, some Midol... Later. Kevin HeyyDude
