Subject: Hammerhead Noise maker

 quite competitive with a DiveAlert, which I in fact bought. I doubt that
> the MiniHammerhead, which is reputed to make a noise underwater, actually

Yes ,the hammerhead "honks" underwater and the noise  produced is
quite satisfactory.

Last year i explored a 140 meter wreck,all divers involved in that
exploration could hear the morse-signals which i produced and the fact
was that the divers were spread around the whole wreck.

disadvantage: it uses a lot of air, if used very often &
    its not loud enough for surface usage(like the
     dive alert,which is fine on the surface,but produces underwater
     just a "gulp")
