Adam, Keep is simple. If you need support for your weights, rig up a suspender, or a pair of suspenders. Use 2" webbing, attached to the rear of your weightbelt with a weightkeeper. Place a quick release buckle near the front of the opposite hip. The suspenders--either one or two--- make heavy weight much more tolerable. Remember, you will have to open the suspender buckle(s) in addition to the belt buckle to remove the weight. Andy Cohen ______________________________ Reply Separator _________________________________ Subject: DUI Weight Suspenders system I dive with about a 23lb weightbelt, and 3lbs on my ankles. It's a real drag swimming with the belt twisting and turning about my waist (even when tightened up well it seems to move). I noticed in a DUI advertisement a suspenders-and-belt contraption they have for carrying weights which seems like it could be a more comfortable solution. Has anybody used these? What sort of price range are they in? What type of weights do they take? Anybody have any suggestions (yes I know if I get steel tanks I can loose some of the weight) (and I know if I try twin pressed-steel 104s I will probably need to loose all the weights and still add some boyancy -- not current options, I'm afraid) Adam -
