It's a bit of the two. From the mail I have received most of the UK divers
with this set up (and that's quite a few) have the same problem. I'm going to
go away and try a few things.

What exactly is the restriction?
Is the valve too far away from your neck? Is the drysuit preventing you
from bending your arm that far?
