Reply to: RE>>Reaching The Valves David The 10lt tanks that I'm taking about are something like your 80's. and quite a bit shorter than OMS 121's. Robin warringtonr@am*.co*.uk* -------------------------------------- Date: 25/1/96 8:05 am To: ROBIN WARRINGTON From: David Norton (Excell Data) I own a pair of OMS 121 with the OMS Manifold. I initially did have problems with reaching the Manifold during a gas shutdown drill. Last weekend, I had no problems reaching them. You have to be just a touch high and therefore top heavy to reach the knobs. A hand under the tank on the side opposite of the tank helps stabilize them. There is too high. There seems to be a optimum height for the valves so you can reach them. Experiment!!! I took several dives before I got the bands just where I wanted them. ****************************************************************** David Norton "How much deeper would the ocean be if sponges didn't live there?" -Stephen Wright OW: PADI Divemaster 96197 Tech: IANTD Adv. With this set-up there it no way I can reach the centre tap with my dry suit on (or with out it on). This is with the tanks mounted as high as is possible. Is this just me?? Has anyone else on this list had this sort of problem???
