Sean,

I have made a number of ice dives, using both the Blizzard and Maximus.  On 
two occassions I have had to deal with free-flow problems using the 
Blizzard, no big problem.  On both occasions water temp was between 34 and 
36 degrees.  I have since purchased the Maximus and have had no problem with 
it of any kind.
