I got Aquacorps n13 today. On page 3 there is a OMS advertisment. The "Cold Water Nitrox Ready Regulator" is a Swedish Divex 900 reg. This regulator has a large first stage with selectable venturi assist and pressure relife valve. The interstage pressure is as low as 4,5 bar to reduce the cooling in the second stage. The second stage is an upstream design with a teflon coated valve to avoid ice buildup, cracking pressure is adjusted from the outside with a hexagonal key. Older models of the second stage was left handed, but demands from internationally trained instructors and divers forced them to change. 300 bar DIN is standard since approx 15 years. Low flow drysuit valves are found to be slow with the low pressure. The regulator is sold in Sweden by Divex. Divex is allso OMS rep in Sweden. The regulator is made by SI-tech, the inventor of the "Viking" drysuit valve, and the "turbo hood". SI-tech is allso supplier of non magnetic infaltionsystems and special operations waterproof bags. When I saw the plant a few years ago, it seemd as if they made all production in house, even the moulds for the plastic parts. The regulator is metric but some unusal threads are used. For instance M13 threads. /Sten Meyer /Sten Meyer * Mogatan 1 * 426 76 V FROELUNDA * SWEDEN * m87stme@mt*.ch*.se* *
