Subject: re: Isolation manifolds, etc
Michael

Being from the US I don't know what is available to you, however I can say a
bit about the OMS doubles. I currently dive with OMS 98's banded together
with their isolation manifold. Personally, I like it. They're not too
heavy (like their 121's) and I'm able to reach the isolation valve with the
drysuit I use, which is a shell (Harvey's). The double 121 system the OMS
has is a bit on the heavy side, although I have dove with them before. It
was great in the water and it wasn't much different that 98's a far as
mobility in wreck penetration is concerned. BUT, after the dive it is rather
difficult climbing up the ladder on the back of a rocky boat, however it can
be done.

Another consideration may be Beuchat. I know they have a 120's that only
weight 40 pounds, and as doubles they would weigh about the same as OMS 98's.
They are at 3500 psi, where the OMS are at 2640 psi. Now, as far as thread
size is concerned, I'm sorry. I can't help you there.

Just some ideas
