YEah , but if you surface and the air temperature is say -3 degrees
celcius .. forget it .. it immediately freezes deaf !
I wonder if there exists something to prevent your Dive Alert from
freezing.

I am not a tekkie but i know for my mares voltrex there is something
called a cold water diving kit. It protects freezing your first stage
by use of some special fluid. I wonder if that technology could
also be used for Dive Alert ?

Any one from Dive Alert out there ?
