On describing the Hogarthian rigging method to someome they replied
that better performance is acheived by breathing the short hose rather
than the long hose as your primary reg.

Is this true?

Does the first stage have to be 'tuned' defferently when breathing the
long hose as your primary reg? I am using a Scubapro MK10/D300.

I am going to install a 5' hose (Dive Rite brand - any commnets?)
rigged Hogarthian on my primary reg and will be using it for OW dives
with a single tank and 30 cuft pony. 7' seems too long for this
application. Has anyone had luck with a similar set up for this use?
