The same LOGIC holds here though. Presumably that OOA diver will have been out of air LONGER than you (obviously). You should have AT LEAST 15-30 seconds to deal with any issues on your short hose, OR, signal that you need the long hose reg back. It is still a less stressful situation. Now, any ideas what to do if the diver will NOT return the reg you just passed him or her ??? :^) I have at least one but want to hear others comments. -Carl-
