As George has said before, "if you are afraid to take the |regulator out of your mouth, then you have no business diving". Well, were not just talking about *taking* the regulator out of your mouth. When a diver needs air, based on the experience stories here and my own, the panicked diver IS going to take the reg out of your mouth. You really do not have much choice in the matter.
