>>>George and Chris, >>> >>>There seem to be two differences in gear config here... >>> >>>Chris said... >>> >>>>Run your hoses Right post - right side. Left post - left side. No >>>>crossing over behind your head. >>> >>>But you didn't say exactly which equipment was hooked to which side >>>(e.g. long hose, short host, spg, inflator)... If I assume long hose >>>RHS, spg LHS, short hose LHS, do you also hook the inflator on the >>>LHS??? Carl:- Sorry about the non-explanation!. I use OMS Wings & Backplate, doubles and Isolation manifold. right hand post(looking from the rear):- Reg with long hose + Inflator for wings (Secondary) All down that side. left hand post (looking from rear):- Reg with std hose,Wings inflator(Primary), suit inflation + Pressure gauge.(Suit inflator and wings inflator run inside a neoprene sleeve that covers convoluted hose - all come under left arm). Regs are Poseidon hence it really does not matter that the are over different shoulders and a stage is carried - one on each side. >>> >>>As I was taught by Jarrod, BOTH regs come over the right hand side. >>>Long hose on RHS, short hose from LHS. Then the inflator comes from >>>the right post, crosses behind you. If I understood what Chris was >>>saying, this sounded contrary to Chris' posting though as TWO hoses >>>cross behind your head, the short hose reg and the inflator. >>> >>>Then, in case of emergency, >>>1) shut down isolator >>>2) shut down side with problem >>> >>>What then is the proper procedure if you screwed up and shut down the >>>wrong side, and, how likely is this to happen? I'd guess If the hoses are run OK the reg's are close to each ear - it is pretty easy to detect which one has gone ape. -- Regards Chris _________________________________________________________________________ e-mail chris@de*.de*.co*.uk* 100422,2334@co*.co*
