  John, you need not worry about personal attacks - I could not
do as good a job as you do yourself. You miss the point so badly,
and argue your point so badly, that your not making sense.

  Let me just say that your little  smartass comment about
"routinely sharing air" is what will earn you an attack from me.
This attitude of yours is exactly my objection to you and your
teaching methods. 

  You are not someone I would ever consider diving with, but I sure 
would love to play chess with you .
