I like stripping down to my swim suit and running around outside for a few minutes before throwing on the wet suit (no dry suit yet)... The key is to leave the wetsuit in the car before hand and on the trip so that it's nice and toasty when you put it on... For 34 degree water I have to break out the top half of the 1/4" suit and throw that over the 3mm suit, which by itself is only good down to about 46 degrees :^) I'm thinking about a dry suit next year, mainly for convenience reasons...
