Rod, I mix my helium, argon, and air for all my gasses, so this
way I do not become confused. This also simplifies my deco tables,
keeps me warm, and gives me a good buzz. This way, when I do get
cold, I can just stick my head under my neck seal, since my suit
gas is breathable, so long as I have not farted in my suit. In
this case I am out of luck, and usually have to call the dive.
When I get back on the boat, figuring out which gas to use is
easy, since all of my tanks have "M.G." written on them, which
stands for "My Gas", so there is never any confusion, like when
somebody grabs my little suit inflation bottle and goes for a
dive with it . The only problem I have ever had is when I quite
mistakenly tried to use the ship's fire extinguisher as a deco
bottle. If this were not bad enough, I was out on Pro Diver, and
they have a soda dispenser. Well, as you can guess, I tried to
dive with one of the CO2 bottles, and it was a little fizzy,
    but not bad. - G
