Hello Dennis! I'm not saying Richard's symptoms are DUE to a lack of oxygen, I'm just saying they are CONSISTENT with a lack of oxygen. I can't imagine how it can be so given the gas mixtures being breathed. Still, it's a good working hypothesis and I'll cogitate further... Are your 'cold narc' symptoms similar to or even the same as Richards? Do others have similar symptoms? I like the term 'cold narcs' better than 'oxygen narcosis' but there is probably a better term for this effect. /Rat ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ shelps@ac*.ma*.ad*.ed*.au* Stephen Helps FAX (08)232-3283 Anaesthesia & Intensive Care Voice (08)224-5495 University of Adelaide ADELAIDE, 5005, South Australia ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ If there is a 50-50 chance that something can go wrong, then 9 times out of ten it will.
