>The Doing it Right vieo was great indeed but just what is sterile about a >pristine cave? I guess it is different strokes for different folks. The >caves are much more interesting in real life. IMHO >Sam Frushour I used to do some spelunking and really enjoyed it. I have to admit the sight of effortlessly cruising through the passages rather than doing the slimy belly-crawl (with the associated contusions and raspberries) is enticing. But sitting there on a decom staring at a wall would drive me nuts. Ocean diving always has something to see. If not schools of fish then a variety of plankton just outside your visor. Water as clear as it is in those caves just has the appearance of being sterile. And to me there is nothing more exciting than seeing the ghostly outline of a shipwreck take form as you drop down the decent line. I will have to take a trip to one of floridas springs and see what it's like. Jim
