  Doug, great post, thank you. One thing that has surfaced in
conflict with the "faster deco with argon, etc" theories is
the testing done by Navy. Their conclusions were that the 
PPO2 was the key determinant, not the method of delivery 
(helium ,nitrogen or argon). I watch this kind of thing closely
for clues to faster deco, and have found none so far, other 
than giving the gas little in the way of places to hide, and
making sure I am in the best cardiovascular conditon I can
possibly be in. Obviously we are limited with elevated PPO2's by
the toxicity considerations. Great explanations on counterdiffusion,
etc, thanks again. - G
