Dear Roberto, If you want to sat diving in Italy you need to have the so called "Libretto di Ricognizione" that is a certificate released by the Italian Coast Gard. To obtain this certificate you need to have a diploma from a commercial diving school. It's almost impossible that some Italian company let someone from the private sector do a sat without the "Libretto di Ricognizione"; also because is a very expensive technique. I'm little bit surprised that Brits (or Norwegian) authorize non-commercial people to go in sat (they have more strict regulations than Italy). Buon Natale, >Dear Roberto, >I'm like to know more about thew work of Saipem, specially on deep Sat. dives, >Is it possible to do such a deep dive with you guys? I'm not looking for a job >I want to do it for my own training purposes. >I've asked the Brits in Scotalnd and they say it can be arranged, can you >Italians do the same? I'm writing you in English so everybody will >understand. >Thanks > >Buon Natale > >Roberto Bagnasco >c/o DiveTek >Via Regazzoni 6 >6900 Lugano >Switzerland > >Tel: +41-91-9237458 >Fax: +41-91-9237576 > > > > ================================================================ MOLTENI ROBERTO SAIPEM S.p.a. roberto.molteni@sa*.in*.it* INTE (R&D dept.)
