>Dear Dennis Sorry for the confusion, my last posting was not clear. I was replying to Reima Raty's question about ambient pressure surface o2 use. Air breaks should be unneccesary when breathing pure o2 on the surface as an o2 convulsion at 1 ata is extremely unlikely (45 minutes = 15%cns) and would not cause any lasting harm in any event. Using o2 to reduce subsequent dive decos whether prebreathing before an initial dive and/or between dives has proven to be very beneficial for me. What I am interested in is finding out how to construct an o2 scrubber stack so I can do surface o2 washouts without all of the hassle of taking along heavy awkward amounts of compressed o2. Thanks Bill
