Doug: I am familiar with the discussion of this topic which is referenced by J.M. Clark, however I fail to see where anything was proven in humans. The problem here is that a hypothesis and limited study on vitamin E deficient rats does not constitute a statement that it HAS BEEN PROVEN in normal humans. Again studies in vitamin E deficient experimental subjects does not necessarily lead to the conclusion that giving Vitamin E to normal subjects will have the same effect. However it does not rule out that vitamin E administration in normal subjects might not be benefital, but this reasech does not prove this hypothesis. Again I am looking research that will back-up Tom's statement in normal subjects. I am very interested in seeing and reading other information that Tom might supply on this subject. Thanks for your response John comly
