If I have no other indication/memory of which way is out, I'd probably invest a minute or two to swim a short distance into either of the two tunnels, turn around and come back to the "T". Doing that should make me realize the "blind" nature of the "T" from one of the two tunnels and help me identify which one I came from. Frankly, I would hope that I would have the discipline in an UNFAMILIAR system to stick close enough to the line and backreference more frequently, so that I would either discover (or learn from others) where the "T"s and jumps are and where which leads to.
