I have had exactly the same problem with my Suunto SME-ML. After changing
the battery the battery warning apperared within a couple of weeks. I have
a Suunto Solution-alpha now and dive with both computers. The battery warning
( on the newly replaced battery in the SME ) is still there and the computer
has worked perfectly for the last 9 months. There must be a problem with
either the servicing technicians, the service instructions or the battery
warning.

Cheers,
Andy.

( Oh no... independant computers ! Get them manifolded on a common bus -
preferably 3 computers with 2-from-3 poling :-) ).

circuitry if this is a common problem. Suunto should look into it.
