EAN 50 is a good deco gas but not anywhere close to EAN 80 actually if you can hit EAN 70 and above there is a significant difference in stop time vs EAN 50 and even more difference in doppler scores that I have tested with my personal doppler, on divers post dive. IANTD has tables that use EAN 75 for stops one set is in stop time and the other is in run times. We are also publishing some EAN 50 deco's for our advanced EANx divers.If you are really getting into tek diving use the EAN 75 or higher.
