I have a suggestion for your dive computer. In addition to measuring pressure 
like a lot of integrated units do, incorporate an oxygen sensor into the 
high pressure port tap.

Then you can do calculations for Nitrox. If the unit were set up on a manifold 
so that all gases were routed through it, you could even handle changes in 
breathing mixture (air for deep, nitrox or oxygen or a combination for deco).

There are a lot of oxygen sensors on the market for medical or automotive use 
so that may be do-able at a reasonable price.
