Im surprissed to see you open this up on the net, however it is noted 
you did not sign your name.

IANTD standards state: "Students with unsafe attitudes or demonstrating 
bad dive habits are not to be certified. 

Your IT Bob Ramio felt you had a bad attitude and had reason to suspect 
your dive habits plus caught and documented you in some controversal 
statements in regard to the truth. He did in fact refuse to certify  
you on this bases and refunded your money.

You and he contacted me at IANTD and we did investigate the matter. 
This was by myself, Billy Deans and Randy Bohrer. The situtation was 
then taken to the BOD where it was a 100% decision that Bob had made 
the right judgement call.

In the four conversations we had this was expressed to you.

Although the decision had already been made your phone call  to me, 
threatening blackmail certainly made it evident that Bob was right on 
cue about you, your attitude and your ethics. During this call YOU 
stated" A dive shop we were concerned about in regard to facility 
status would sue us if denied status. YOU went on to say this shop 
would use you as an expert witness in this situtation. Then YOU stated 
that of course if IANTD would give you instructor status you would not 
act as a witness in the case.  

Because we are a REAL agency we took the correct steps to avoid 
representation by someone with your moral code. It is much easier to 
avoid a bad apple than to eliminate one thus we avoided the problem. I 
heard you had a similar reaction from TDI but do not know for a fact 
that it is true or not. Prehaps you changed your attitude of faked it 
long enough to become an ANDI instructor. I do not think they would 
knowlingly certify someone who behaved in the manner you did when 
seeking IANTD certification. At least I certainly hope they have better 
QC than that.  

At any rate good luck to you with ANDI and Im certainly happy you do 
not represent IANTD.
