When I quit smoking I tried different approaches, including the patch.
I noticed quite often a quick nic. buzz when I put the patch on. I don't
think I would want to be underwater with something like that happening.

Just quit the old fashioned way, cold turkey. It works, but the first
three weeks you're an unbareable grouch..

19 months tar free, and happy about it.
