Does anyone know if there are any pressure related effects of diving with
medical implants such as Norplant or other simpler chemical transport
systems like the nicotine patch? A doctor I spoke with briefly didn't have
any useful insights. I'm mostly concerned with pressure in the 5-7 ATM
range (or if breathing O2 enriched gases up to ~PO2 1.45 would have any
effects). I'd really like to hear from anyone who has dived while wearing
something like this (especially if they found themselves pregnant a few
months later or "Nicted" on the dive in addition to Narced). Thanks.
