Salt and cold. EE Doesn't recommend using them anymore, we have had two guys send theirs back already for replacement cords (which they did, excellent service) It looks like the salt and cold cause a voltage drop, and the ballasts are very finicky about that, which causes it to lose the arc. After seeing this happen a couple times I started asking around - It sounds like the E/O connectors are even problematic with halogen after a few dives. We were shooting some video this weekend - It was really problematic to have the light constantly cycling. In fact, there was talk on the way home about hard wiring a lid with two cords for video. Hope the videographer is emotionally attached to their camera as well. :-) At 03:57 PM 5/8/2000 -0500, Jess Armantrout wrote: >how does your diving conditions have anything to do with EO connectors? > > > > -----Original Message----- > > From: Kevin Connell [mailto:kevin@nw*.co*] > > Sent: Monday, May 08, 2000 2:29 PM > > To: Jess Armantrout; Scott Landon > > Cc: cavers@cavers.com > > Subject: RE: another stupid question..LOL > > > > > > Come here and try to use one. > > > > At 02:21 PM 5/8/2000 -0500, Jess Armantrout wrote: > > >really?
