Scott, CO-2 scares any diver period, gas and diesel compressors produce
this. Yea, yea, I've heard the story about snorkel intakes, but then again,
who is watching the wind blow and insuring the intake is up-wind, or you
don't have a exhaust manifold leak? One more thing, I have a 13 cfm Mako at
my shop, while it has been a good tight machine, I would not recommend a
Mako. Recently they received a US government contract, and replacement parts
have gone though the roof (just like military toilet seats). A third stage
after cooler now cost over $500.00, and Bauer's is less than a 1/3 of this.
You don't even want to know about valve prices. Also, go electric, if this
is not possible in your location, get a hamster on steroids with a thread
mill to power it.
