Samy, "Trey" means "three" , as in George Marshall Irvine III . For you
Marines, that means Trey and George are the same person. That be me.

I am in the "business" - I work for a NY Brokerage, but I do not deal
with individuals unless they are close friends or family. I do not deal
in equities unless it is through my partner who specializes in equities.
He is institutional, not "retail" as well, other than for the exceptions
noted above.

My job is as an institutional fixed income person , which these days is
not even really bonds anymore.

Even if I were in that business, I could not dispense advice to anyone
in this fashion about investments of any kind, and would not .

I will say that there is no earthly reason to trade with marginal firms
when the monsters have the same on line services. I will also say this:
there is no Santa Claus on Wall Steet.
