And, worst case scenario, the pilot's heart goes *poof* somehwere over the
Atlantic, there's another guy on board who knows how to fly the darn thing.

Suppose an instructor is a few hundred feet back in a cave when _he_ goes
*crump* ? Now, not only does a new student have to navigate, maybe solo,
back out, he has to drag a body with him....
