Subject: Some People Just Don't Get It...was Gue requirement to dive

Read, reread if necessary.......process.......then question if you have
additional inquiries.

Mike said he would pay for your membership!

I bet half of you subscribe to "Skin Diver" or Rodales.....and don't give
it a second thought......when is the last time you got anything useful out
of them?

JJ-maybe if you had some glossy pictures of fat drooling slobs, smoking a
joint and wearing bondage wings getting ready to dive a blue hole in some
exotic locale.........sales would shoot through the roof.

 1. Are Tyler Moon and Harry Averil still on the training committee
for
NSS-CDS as the web site shows?

 2. Are T. Cole, H. Averil, T. Kendel, JJ, T. Moon, D. Rhea, who are
GUE
instructors, still instructors with NSS-CDS as the web site shows?

 3. Are JJ, T. Moon, and H. Averil still instructors for NACD as the
web
site shows?

 4. In investigating a membership to GUE, has there been any more
publication of dirQuest other than the one Vol 1., No.1 Summer of 1999?

 5. Is this the same publication, which is still on line?

One very important question was left out. How can spending $19 for a GUE
membership make us such a safer diver that we will be allowed in Madison ?
Dont get me wrong, i have been wondering alot here lately if i was going to
renew my CDS membership or not and it has nothing to do with what is going
on
here ( GUE and Madison) . At the same time i have to ask myself, is GUE
going
to be any better in a year or two? It takes money to run an organization.
How
do we know GUE wont be chasing the dollar a year from now trying the stay
afloat like the rest are doing. I would like to see GUE make it but so far
all i have heard and seen is alot of talk and finger pointing.
