It's not a cave diving comic book like some other > guys put out >> Its realy unfurtunate how much emphisis is put on wh the card comes from and who the instructer was that issued it. That a crying shame. It seems to have gotten like the padi c card situation , where you can sit throght two evening fcalsses , the do two dive , and presto you have a card. I remmener a dive out of ling island , some where around 120 feet , cant remeber what wreck. Any wat some of use were hanging on the line , and there was one fellow who was hanging there for a while that went up. after some of us got out we aksed him how his dive was , he said he realy liked it , and asked us why we were hanging on the line. We explianded deco and that some of the dive times required it , and some weere doing longer safty stops. We asked him how long he was on the bottem , he answere thet he just hung arount , and went up when he felt like it, m and that he only was hanging on the line couse others were. , and just hung there for a while. needless to say , he got some very needed instruction on dive tables and the use of them. He was also given a pony bottle and buddied up with another dive for the duration of the trip. Amazing that he had a c card. He did shape up to be quit a decent dive. This is true story. You would be amazed at the shit that happens in the NE. >True....not much to join but where does it go ?
